While visiting the Mornington Peninusla, drop in to see the select range of fine quality furniture and antiques at Tyabb Antique Centre in the main street of Tyabb.

Peter McDonnell has 30 years experience as an antique furniture dealer and restorer. In 1982 he opened his antique shop in Main Street, Tyabb. He was the antique dealer who established Tyabb as a major centre of the antique trade. His mother, Nadia McDonnell, introduced him to the business when she established an antique shop in Ross Smith Avenue in Frankston in the early 70s. She later moved to Hampton St., Hampton where she continued to trade until 2001.
We have two fully qualifed french polishers with forty years experince in antique restoration. All our work is hand done using traditional methods. If you have a piece of furniture which needs restoring, contact us for a free appraisal.

The Tyabb Antique Centre also has a lovely cafe where you can sit in the garden in summer or by the open fire in winter and enjoy a bite of lunch or afternoon tea.
We have our new shop in Korumburra open now with a large range of fine quality furniture ,paintings and decorative art for sale, so if you are visiting South Gippsland on the week end, feel free to drop in and have a chat to Caroline who manages the shop,which is situated at 7 Mine st Korumburra,at the momment we are open on weekends but in sumertime we will be open thursday to sunday
